Hello, I am so sorry that I have not posted a blog for July. I always like to tell you my news and new projects, but it has been so busy for me in the last few months I did not get any time!
I have had lots of face to face shows on TV and at events local to me in the last few months. Thanks for those of you who visited me and said hi at Newton Abbot and in Devon South Railway shows. I have also fitted in a family wedding, and sometime out for me and my partner Clive , odd days out to visit the local areas, as I am still getting to know Devon! I cant believe its been 18 months now.
I have some new dates for events, which you can find on my events page. In September, I am showing at Stitching 4 Crafters show on the 19th-21st September. I am going to be demonstrating my work on heritage stitching. If you are going to Shepton Mallet please come along and say hello , I am on the upper gallery with the Sewing Bee Designers near the catwalk show...wow!
I am back on Hobby Maker on the 1st Oct at 3pm with my new collection of Royal Roundels stitching cards, and a new slow stitch range, for vintage and recycle stitchers....watch out for my FB posts. Also on the 1st October I will be back on Sewing Street TV at 12pm, with new kits and products on Elizabethan stitching.
Royal Roundels kits, were so popular on Sewing Street on August 6th , I have only a few in stock. So please visit my website if you want them before they sell out and before I sell out with the few I have left for the Show at Shepton Mallet.
I also had a lovely day at the Festival of Quilts in early August. I visited on the Sunday to see my lovely clients from India , along with the Sewing Street Crew and I met so many of you who said hello to me, this is so nice and I am still getting used to it!
I also bought sewing items for quilting, as I am learning to quilt when I have time. The Festive Decoration kits I designed sold out on Sewing Street on my last show, as you liked the idea of quilting the trees, and make decorations, I am going to make more along these lines, ideas are in progress. I did show my first table runner on air....I ma proud of.
Well, That's it for now, enjoy the rest of summer, and I will blog you all again in the Autumn!
Bye for now, Keep stitching !
Maria
